Please follow my business venture, Pristine Bioproduction , LLC, a San Francisco Bay area based contract Manufacturer for bulk Clinical antibodies. Customers of Pristine will hopefully be in the Biopharma and biotech sectors. The advantage of contracting clinical production is to allow the customers to defer capital outlay for new clinical manufacturing capacity. Biologics have very low success rates getting to marketed approval. It is risky for a small biotech company to spend ~$50-$80MM on a facility that will probably have very low utlization rates.
