Greetings,
Please follow my business venture, Pristine Bioproduction , LLC, a San Francisco Bay area based contract Manufacturer for bulk Clinical antibodies. Customers of Pristine will hopefully be in the Biopharma and biotech sectors. The advantage of contracting clinical production is to allow the customers to defer capital outlay for new clinical manufacturing capacity. Biologics have very low success rates getting to marketed approval. It is risky for a small biotech company to spend ~$50-$80MM on a facility that will probably have very low utlization rates.
Pristine's business description is as follows:
Pristine Bioproduction is a cGMP contract manufacturing
organization specializing in the production of bulk monoclonal
antibodies for pre-clinical and early clinical studies. Pristine will
use state of the art single-use equipment to lower production costs
and maximize flexibility and nimbleness. By heavily relying on
single-use technologies, it is the aim of Pristine to offer high
quality products at competitive prices with rapid turnaround to our
customers. Pristine will strive to acquire and retain highly
experienced managers in bioproduction, bioprocess Engineering,
and cGMP Quality. Pristine Bioproduction values a diverse
workforce that strives to operate in an environmentally responsible
manner.
Pristine's website is www.pristinebioproduction.com. It is not a populated website at the moment.
ReplyDeleteLove it, Tim, keep up the good work on the marketing side of things. I'll be your guinea pig to help test things.

ReplyDeleteVery exciting and sure to be a success!
ReplyDeleteWe are popularising our new concept single use bioreactors( under patent)for exactly similar use. our equipment is ideal for production of monoclonals. Please see youtube link:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ZnxaAEVGsI&NR=1
ReplyDeleteSounds really interesting - are these bioreactors ready to go yet or still in development?
ReplyDeleteThanks!
